PLC Instructions

The PLC (Plasma Lamp Controller) has been greatly simplified over its predecessor, the FDS+, with reference to switchable options. This has been done to provide a rugged, no fuss, easy to use controller for the Novelty Plasma Lamps that have become popular around the world.

Your PLC comes with a Universal Power Supply that has the correct socket connected to it, ready to plug into the PLC. The green tip probe is a 2.5mm DC connector. While the PLC can operate on any DC voltage from 3 VDC to 18 VDC, it is recommend that we keep the setting on the power supply at 5 VDC, which is selected prior to postage. It is not recommended that you operate the PLC more than 6 VDC when connected to the plasma balls. Their transistors are usually best operated on a 5 VDC signal.

The Universal Power Supply selected has been tested on an oscilloscope, and the DC supply is very stable without ripples on the output supply.

Step 1. Connect the PLC's 3.5mm (stereo connector) to the headphone or sound output from a computer or other audio device that has frequency files stored on it.

Step 2. Connect the Universal Power Supply to the PLC. Center pin is positive. If you have to re-insert the tip on the power supply, in the event it came off, then the PLC is polarity protected, so the LED wont come on. You can't hurt the PLC by a reversed power supply connection, it just wont work. Change the tip to the other polarity and you will be in business.

Step 3. Connect the Universal Power Supply to a mains socket. An adaptor for your country has been included. Make sure 5 volts is selected.

Step 3. Connect the Plasma Ball's Red RCA connector to the Red RCA connector on the PLC unit. To remain backward compatible with older Plasma Lamp modifications, if your Plasma Ball has two RCA connectors (red and black), then connect them to the same red and black connecter on the PLC. This offers full shielding. However, in tests we have done, the circuit in the PLC has a large ground plain that provides very good grounding, and we have found it is not necessary to have the plasma balls main lead shielded. The only noticeable interference we could generate was noise from a mobile phone. Having just one lead per plasma ball reduced costs significantly as we are using gold connections.

But for people doing their own Plasma Ball modifications, then the black RCA connector is also used as zero volts and a connection point for attaching the shielding wires of the plasma ball's lead to the ground plane of the PLC. This also is so the case for the PLCSx (Plasma Lamp Controller Signal Splitter)

Step 4. Adjust the PLC's RF Knob to around 50kHz

Step 5. Adjust the PLC's Power Dial to full power.

Step 6. Turn on the PLC Power Supply, this is flicking the switch in the mains power on the wall. A Green LED will come on the Universal Power Supply indicating it has power.

Step 7. Switch on the PLC, it's red LED will be illuminated, indicating power is ON.

Step 8. Now switch mains power ON to the Plasma Balls and switch the 3 position switch on the 8 inch plasma balls to the middle position. The system is now ready for operation.

Step 9. Make sure you can hear good audio tones out the computers speakers. If so then the computers audio volume is set right. Run FreX or CHIamp to supply a frequency signal for the Plasma Ball.

Step 10. After the plasma balls light-up adjust Power Dial and RF Dial to give best plasma stream display. You'll enjoy playing with this. The RF dial will be somewhere between 40kHz to 80kHz. Keep the RF Dial as high as possible without too much plasma ball display degrading. A little is okay and doesn't effect the signal transmission greatly. The higher we turn the RF dial, then greater pressure is placed in the Audio signal envelope, and this is good for our purposes in generating greater RF and harmonics, the magnetic component also increases in the output signal. Keeping a few plasma streams visible in the ball is important. When there are no plasma streams, the output signal decays noticeably.

At low audio frequency, under 2,000Hz, then it is okay to have the RF lower, around 40kHz, but if the audio frequencies are much higher, then turn up the RF a little to maintain signal pressure.

Step 11. At the end of the session, turn everything off and put the plasma lamp away where it wont get knocked over.

GENERAL NOTES

Some people have found huge benefits by touching the plasma ball while it is operating. This places a huge signal on and through the body and may be okay for the straight audio driven Plasma Lamps. The PLC optimises the signal for frequency therapy, and the transmissions are quite stronger, so if experimenting with touching the lamp, do so cautiously and monitor heat build up to avoid burns.

Keep plasma balls at least 4 feet away from sensitive electronic equipment. Running them close to TV's and Stereos has lost me expensive equipment. This seems to be due to the plasma balls high IR (Infra Red) discharge and also its ability to scramble electronic software settings.

As frequencies vary, you may find the setting for 500Hz not suitable for 10,000Hz, although there should not be too much difference, but feel free to tweak the RF and Power Dial if you think the display can be further optimised or enhanced.

Play with the Audio volume in your computer, FreX or CHIamp, or your MP3 Player. At low volumes where the plasma lamp just lights up, indicates a small Audio Duty Cycle of around 10%. Best performance has been with the Audio volume up half way to 3/4's full, as this will generate a full 50% Duty Cycle audio gating square wave.

PLCSx Instructions

The PLCSx (Plasma Lamp Controller Signal Splitter) is an option for people wanting to run more than one Plasma Lamp at a time.

Why Two Plasma Balls

Standing waves are created where two waves travelling in opposite directions collide, this creates standing waves. When an ocean wave rolls back into the sea and hits and incoming wave, a water spout at the point of collision is created, most of us have seen this, this is a standing wave.

As a biological body is non linear, in an electro magnetic sense, then standing waves are generated in the body when plasma lamps are placed on either side of the body, and inturn, scalar waves are believed to be created in the body by the standing waves. This is termed pseudo science. However, in certain configurations of plasma lamp set-up, strong inner energy shifts can be experienced with just two plasma balls, this is becoming quite repeatable with experimenters. The only explanations that seem to fit this phenomena is the creation of these standing waves, and also the existence of scalar waves. You can search Google for Scalar Waves and will be kept well entertained. However these theories do have a role in frequency therapy, as from all the therapies that exist to date, R.I.F.E. style plasma lamp frequency therapy is the one with the track record that turns up miracle healings more than any other wellness technology system available.

The Scalar Wave octave converter in FreX has generated some amazing results with experimenters. Examples of this are using Dr. Clark's herpes frequencies, converting them into lower Scalar Wave harmonics, and the results have been reported as being just as effective, if not more so than the original higher frequency. I have seen this happen myself with a friend.

PLCSx Instructions Are Easy

The PLCSx has one lead attached to it with a RCA connector. Attach this connecter to the RED RCA connector on the PLC. This is all there is to it.

If your plasma ball has two (red and black) RCA connectors, then connect these to the corresponding red and black RCA connector on the PLCSx. If you plasma ball has only one RCA connector, then connect this to the red RCA connecter on the PLCSx.

Each PLCSx has a yellow RCA connector on its side. This is a signal throughput, and where we connect a second PLCSx to run 3 or 4 plasma balls from two PLCSx's

Milinum Plasma Ball Operation

Once you have connected the PLC, PLCSx, and the Milinum Plasma Ball together, and hooked up to a computer with software like FreX running, then here are some tips that will let you get the most out of the session.

Keep the Milinum Plasma Balls as far as possible away from sensitive electronics. Four foot (plus) is what I try to achieve when setting up the system.

We can increase the RF carrier frequency to around 100kHz+ when audio frequencies are greater than 1,800Hz with the 8 and 12 inch Milinum Balls. When the audio frequency is under 1,800Hz then we will need to reduce the RF to around 50kHz to 40KHz to maintain the display.

For maximum output we need to keep 3 or more plasma streams flowing in the ball. When the plasma streams drop below 3 fingers the field output starts to drop off.

If you turn the RF Dial to 330kHz and get a display, then the 330kHz signal is present, but reduced by half power, and the lower harmonics generated is running the Milinum Ball.

If you don't want to bother about this fine tuning, then it is easy to just set the RF Dial to around 50kHz and just leave it there, as all the frequencies work around this setting, no matter where they are from 1Hz to 20,000Hz.
